Transforming Leaders Through Executive Therapy
What is Executive Therapy?
Executive therapy helps you deepen your understanding, heal your pain, overcome your struggles, and realize your potential. As an executive therapist, I pay special attention to your experience in leadership roles, and the heightened responsibility and added pressure that you carry.
Here are some of the experiences people have in executive therapy:
For a CEO to guide his company through the fear and uncertainty of COVID, he had to first face his fears and uncertainty about his family and home life.
When the president of a non-profit faced a recall vote, she had to discover the origin of her imposter syndrome to retain their presidency.
The founder of an early AI start-up found his voice drowned out by the release of ChatGPT. To reinvent himself, he had to leave old fears and resentments behind.
A woman senior executive found herself paralyzed by stress and decision overload. She found a renewed capacity to act when she explored relationships from her past.
Executive therapy understands both how your leadership role is an important part of who you are, and how who you are affects your leadership. I offer a holistic approach that aims to help with life’s challenges, while appreciating the humanity and resources we all have within us.
About Jack
I come to executive therapy after a 25 year career in technology, with nine of those years in executive roles. I’ve worked for start-ups and public companies; I’ve been part of exits and acquisitions; I have seven patents and have worked with clients on five continents. Through it all, I always wanted to understand what was holding me back and what could make me better. To thrive, I needed to do deep work. It’s now my privilege to help others do the same.
I love working with start-up founders and young leaders, as well as senior executives. I feel a special kinship with those who don’t quite fit the mold and who need to find their way in the dominant culture.
Executive therapy isn’t just for business—I also work with non-profit and public sector leaders, academics, doctors, and lawyers.

About the top image:
This is a wall of klinker bricks. Klinker bricks are formed when wet clay is exposed to excessive heat during the firing process. Historically discarded, architects and craftsman in the 1920s began to incorporate them into their design, embracing their imperfections and irregularity. The results are a wall that expresses the unexpected beauty and resilience found in bricks forged in the most intense heat and fire.
